De La Salle Health Sciences Institute (DLSHSI) in Dasmariñas, Cavite ranks third (With 100 and more Examinees bracket) in the recent Nursing Board exams. With 296 board passers out of 309 takers , the school scored 96.00 percent passing rate. Congratulations to all board passers.

Makati Science High School alumnae Kristine Mendoza (Batch 2004) places third in the Nursing Board Examinations with 85.60 percent score. Last time I saw Kristine was in fourth quarter of 2007 at Makati Medical Center. Congtratulations Kristine!

WHY QUIT SMOKING? Dr. Karl Fagerstrom, known as the Father of Smoking Cessation, explains why smokers should quit smoking and enumerates ways on how to kick the habit. After the much awaited opening of Ninoy Aquino International Airpot (NAIA 3), although is still serving domestic flights, another terminal will is expected to serve the flying public. This time, it will be a Budget Terminal.
By mid-year of 2009, another airport terminal in Manila will open. Dubbed as the Budget Terminal, it will be serving the two low-cost and budget airlines namely Asian Spirit and SeaAir. These two airlines had increase their daily flights and expanded operations in several region. The new terminal is expected to address overcrowding problems in the existing passenger terminal. Hopefully, this will help boost the Philippine tourism industry.
