Years of hardwork. August 21 - Ninoy Aquino Day which coincides with Jester Sia’s Birthday is Vindication Day, the day when the three of the deadliest thesis panel in the department, Dr. Jose Lloyd Espiritu, Mr. Oliver Malabanan and Mr. Allan Chu signed our thesis acceptance and approval.
Thanks to De La Salle University for giving me a chance to study and excel in college for 10 terms free of charge. (Except for one deadly subject which required us to drop and reenrol the following term -thesis).
Globe Wireless Broadband has been giving a poor service to its customers lately. For the past week, the internet connection has been consistently intermittent. Imagine a broadband connection that gives you 800 kbps download speed from Yahoo.
Another deceit in the crappy Globe service is its image compression feature. In the first leg of this unprecedented feature, it almost took forever to load images from both popular and non-popular website. All jpeg, png and gif images goes through their image compression a.k.a. destroyer with IP address 62.0.5.133, among others. Waiting two seconds for an uncompressed image, or pressing ctrl+F5 for an original quality is simply not working and takes more time and bandwidth. Imagine the page loads in poor quality so I have to reload the page (taking up bandwidth again, taking my precious time also). Make your brains work, Globe! Websites with packed with pictures are not displayed properly. Starting this week, images load but makes a total mess in the website. All images take time to load.
Globe is really terrible giving a rotten service to its displeased and unsatisfied customers. Customers are paying monthly dues only to be provided with a messed service. Globe makes an internet anarchy. Globe makes a social turmoil. Globe is really a loser.
To the technical people of Globe creating a technical disorder, please stop this image compression feature, or simple make it optional. Going to Multiply.com and other photo sites is burden-full especially if a high-quality image is needed.
Two points, Globe:
• No more image compressions, or make it optional
• Speed up!
Or else, forget that you’ll receive your undeserved dues!
NEVER TRUST GLOBE WIRELESS BROADBAND!
What would be a better broadband provider given that there is still no PLDT myDSL port in our area? MyDestiny or ZPDee?

Secretary Eduardo Ermita
When the majority of the citizenry do not trust The President, as evidenced by the negative public trust rating of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, when the president previously lied to the Filipino people when she said that she will no longer run in the 2004 Presidential Elections, when the president never answered truthfully allegations against her, how could the Filipino people ascertain the sincerity of this statement? Federalism is has long been debated but how could Charter Change start under the term of a president who never tells the truth. In less than two years, another presidential elections will occur. Fast-tracking charter change in the Congress will just make monkey out of our democratic process. Change the president first before opening constitutional change debates.
